Technical description:
Textile fire jacket for firefighters
Compositions:
- 75% Nomex®, offers thermal and chemical resistance.
- 23% Kevlar®, high resistance to traction and physical wear.
- 2% Antistatic, reduces the build-up of static electricity.
Anti-humidity barrier:
- Flame-retardant fabrics (fabrics treated to resist fire).
- Highly Breathable Polyurethane Membrane (PU membrane), breathable which resists humidity while allowing perspiration to escape.
- Thermal barrier, quilted aramid felt with Aramid/Viscose FR 50/50 interior lining.
Jacket design:
- High quality aramid stitching, heat resistant and durable.
- One-way anti-panic zipper with flame-retardant Velcro flap.
- Reflective strip, 5 cm yellow-gray-yellow aramid to improve visibility.
- 2 side pockets with flap, making it easy to store tools and equipment.
- Aramid fabric cuff with thumb loop.
- Wide collar, with foldable FR Velcros collar closure system, American style.
Textile fire pants:
- Exterior fabrics: same composition as for the jacket
- Aramid stitching
- Velcro and snap button closure on the front of the pants for a secure closure
- Elastic and adjustable strap attached to the back of the pant waist
- Elastic waist, for a better fit
