Description
Fire extinguishing modules are a fast and reliable solution for fire protection in remote or hard-to-reach areas.
They are designed for installation on semi-trucks (pickups), and the configuration can be changed according to the vehicle model.
The module contains the following components:
Water tank – Contains a large amount of water for extinguishing a fire. The tanks vary in size depending on the vehicle and the purpose of the system.
Pump – Responsible for pumping water or fire fighting agent and ensuring that they reach the fire efficiently. It is a separate unit powered by fuel – gasoline or diesel. It can also work with a water source separate from the tank.
Hose reel – Made of stainless steel, the reel keeps the hose conveniently coiled and ready for use. The size and length of the hose are determined according to the system requirements.
Nozzle – allows regulation of the flow rate and the water jet – condensed and diffused
All this is compactly mounted on a self-contained platform, hot-dipped galvanized to provide maximum corrosion protection,
resistance to shocks and the weight of water during movement, with 4 rings for fastening and lifting.
The MBK-600-80-50 model is standardly equipped in the following configuration:
600l water tank
– Made of polyester (GRP). It has a low center of gravity. The thickness of the tank is 6 mm with reinforced areas of polyester fibers.
The engine is ROBIN’s with the following technical characteristics:
-Air-cooled four-stroke.
-Nominal power 10.3kW
-7 liter tank that provides a minimum of 1.5 hours of operation without charging.
-Start-stop is done with a switch (electric starter) and as a backup by pulling a rope.
-Fuel – unleaded gasoline.
Pump with the following characteristics:
– Diaphragm pump
-Productivity: 71.6lit/min with a pressure of 50 bar.
-Can pump water and simultaneously extinguish or fill the tank.
-Equipped with pressure gauge.
Hose reel
-The module has a stainless steel reel equipped with a fire hose with a length of 70m and a diameter of 12.7mm
destructive pressure 160 bar, manufactured in accordance with EN 694. It has an adjustable STORZ quick-release nozzle, capable of firing a dense and diffused jet.
